Γειά σας (hello) from Limassol!

The first half of the Erasmus+ work experience week is behind us. The students are working towards completing their personal goals as well as competencies.
This experience also enables personal growth and allows our students to grow in independence, adaptability, resilience, confidence and assertiveness and indeed, these are just a few of the competencies our students have been working on.

This weekend was all about cultural experiences. On Saturday, we visited Nicosia where we also crossed the border to the Turkish Cypriotic side. As soon as we passed the buffer zone it was clear that we had stepped into another culture.
We visited the highlights and crossed back to the Greek Cypriotic side to explore more of the old town and enjoyed a traditional Cypriotic lunch together.
On Sunday, we stayed in the Limassol area to visit ancient sites. Part of the group went to the amphitheatre in Kourion and the others went to the ancient site of Amathous.
After the sightseeing we met up at the beach for some volleyball/reading/relaxing to enjoy the warm Cypriot sunshine.
